Vape focused lesson activities: The Department of Health and Social Care have has produced resources to support three form time sessions for students to learn about social pressures around vaping, its impact, and the effects of Nicotine on the adolescent brain.
Smoke/vape teaching and promotional resources: Smokefree Sheffield, with support from ASH and local authorities across Yorkshire and Humber, have produced a comprehensive set of resources for schools to use.
National guidance to schools vaping: Action on Smoking and Health (ASH) have has created a number of supporting documents regarding growing concerns around youth vaping. It is primarily for public health officials and trading standards officers, but also sets out important information for councillors, schools, parents and retailers.
Warwickshire’s Smoke free and vape free support for schools: this toolkit offers support on what schools in Warwickshire can do to address both smoking and vaping. This includes current legislation and guidance, how to implement smoke free and vape free policies, and teaching resources.
