- You live in Coventry
- You work or study in Coventry
- You’re registered with a Coventry GP
I am pregnant, where can I get free stop smoking support?
If you're pregnant and smoke, we offer a specially tailored stop smoking service designed just for you. It’s free, confidential, and built around your needs and your baby’s health.
To learn more or get started, visit our Smoking in Pregnancy page or simply ask your midwife.
What can I expect after I contact the service?
After you contact the service, you’ll be invited to join a free and confidential 12-week programme to help you stop smoking. A trained coach will work with you, either in person, over the phone, or online, to create a quit plan that suits you.
You may also be offered free or low-cost stop smoking aids, such as nicotine patches or gum (NRT), vapes (if you're over 18), or a prescription medicine called Varenicline.
Support is available one-to-one or in a group, depending on what works best for you.
I’m not sure that one-to-one or group support is right for me, are there any other support options?
Yes! If you are not ready to talk directly to a service, there are still great tools to help you quit:
- Smoke Free App – Get free help to quit smoking, right from your phone! You’ll get 24/7 support, free stop smoking products (NRT) delivered to your door, and advice from trained experts. Download the app today and start your journey to going Smoke Free.
Not quite ready yet?
Not quite ready to start the 12-week programme? No problem. The service can offer a different, more personal way to support you. Get in touch for a chat with one of the coaches to find out how they can help in a way that suits you best.
